FACIAL REJUVENATION: MICRONEEDLING

At Padgett Medical Center we offer facial rejuvenation by using the microneedling procedure. The microneedling procedure is two-fold: To stimulate collagen production and to increase the absorption of skincare products. The micro-channels created by microneedling provides a path into the deeper layers of skin. By doing this, it provides for optimal healing.

Microneedling uses a device called a “Skin Stylist” that slides along the skin, penetrating the upper layers of the skin to a depth of up to 2mm to create numerous tiny needle wounds. The skin begins to respond by creating new collagen and elastin fibers. Once the stylist is used, the skin begins to thicken and plumps. This process reduces the appearance of scars, stretch marks and fine lines and wrinkles. Microneedling at Padgett Medical Center is a gentler anti-aging therapy for skin resurfacing. It remains to be the least harsh way of dealing with skin imperfections. Moreover, this process encouraging collagen production while at the same time helping to reduce the appearance of sun spots and other signs of aging.

The micro-channels created by microneedling provides a path into the deeper layers of skin. By doing this, it provides for optimal healing.
